Services: Partnerships and Collaborations

WMI is actively seeking business and research partnerships and collaborations. Once of our recent successes is our partnership with SCM for the purposes of implementing WMI-MD® and APPLE&P® within the ADF® computational framework. As a result of this relationship, WMI has become a reseller of ADF® computational packages in North America.

While producing and selling high-quality modeling software is important for WMI, high-quality science remains our primary driver and motivator. A major source of business for WMI has been and remains research collaborations with industry, government and academia. WMI has enjoyed productive research interactions with several industrial and government laboratory partners (see the projects link for details). Industrial and governmental entities interested in collaborative research with WMI or in engaging WMI to perform research, force field or methods development, or in engagin us for training in use of the software products we provide, are encouraged to contact us at consulting@wasatchmolecular.com or (801) 746-9258.

Additionally, WMI has enjoyed great success in obtaining SBIR and STTR funding in collaboration with a number of academic partners, including the University of Utah, University of Missouri-Columbia and Penn State. We are very interested in making contact with academic research groups searching for a small business partner to respond to SBIR, STTR and other funding opportunities that require high-quality molecular and materials modeling in the fields of renewable energy, energy storage, ionic liquids, polymeric systems, and energetic materials. Please contact us at consulting@wasatchmolecular.com or (801) 746-9258 to discuss possible interactions.
